My Sister Maria is the musical project of Vancouver-based jazz vocalist, songwriter, pianist, and guitarist Maria Gabrielle. Blending the timeless elegance of jazz with touches of soul, folk, and contemporary songwriting, Maria creates performances that are intimate, expressive, and emotionally resonant.

Music has shaped Maria's life since childhood. Raised by her father, a professional entertainer, she grew up performing on festival stages and in live music venues across British Columbia, developing a deep appreciation for the connection between artist and audience. Inspired by the restorative power of the ocean and the beauty found in everyday moments, her songs explore themes of love, reflection, hope, and human connection.

Whether performing solo, with her jazz trio, or leading My Sister Maria, Maria is known for her warm stage presence, captivating voice, and collaborative spirit. She has performed at renowned venues and festivals including the Vancouver International Jazz Festival, Frankie's Jazz Club, The Jazz Bistro, Wise Hall, and The Fox Cabaret.

Currently preparing to release a new collection of original music in 2027, Maria continues to grow her audience while expanding her touring throughout Canada, the United States, and Europe, sharing music that invites listeners to slow down, feel deeply, and reconnect through song.
